I'm not even worried. Whatever will happen will happen, but I'm not going to plan my life around it. I honestly don't think the world is going to end in 2012. Just because the Mayan calendar ends then is not a "sign". It just shows that they didn't see a need to make a calendar that goes any further.

Just to muddy the waters, I will add that there are actually TWO kinds of pole shift:

One is the change in magnetic poles- this is what's causing runways to need renumbering as they are named by their compass headings. Magnetic pole shift is constant and can be compensated for over time.

The second is an actual shift in the earths rotational axis which has been present but relatively stable for at least all of human history. Any geologically rapid changes there could be cataclysmic indeed! Let's hope it doesn't happen.

More on this second type of pole shift:

I have more evidance.

This one place I used to live in Alaska usually get's between the 10s and the 30s in the winter (USUALLY the mid-upper 20s) reached -20 degrees tonight... coincidence? MAYBE...

Umm...I'm confused though. How can the sun be two days early?
Thats what I would like to know sun being 2 days early o.O... Though me and my cousin did notice the moon at 3:00ish PM Sun was out all nice and bright but the moon was just the opposite side of the sky.

Oh, would you be thinking about the blood eagle? That's a pretty messed up viking torture technique.

I always assumed that it was much colder in Alaska, for some reason.

My brother worked a couple months in Alaska and now he's working in North Dakota. He never complained about the weather in Alaska but he sure is complaining about it in North Dakota. lol

I really don't believe in global warming OR the world ending in 2012... however I do think that people are really not taking care of the Earth like they should. if humans survived the last ice age, we can survive another one!
