compatability

just a question can my betta fish live with my bamboo shrimp in a 5 gallon tank???

As far as stocking/bioload yes, as far as if the Betta will kill the shrimp....that varies from one Betta to another and from one day to the other....never know what they will do....however, bamboo shrimp are pretty big shrimp...but still....the Betta may or may not kill them.....

ive had the betta in with the shrimp for about a week now and they seem to be dooing good they kind of just leave eachother alone :)

I called up Petco before I got my ghost shrimp to ask if they had ghost shrimp there and they told me no but they had bamboo shrimp. I ask if they could live with bettas and bunch of other questions so I decided to go there and check it out. I was floored to see how huge they were!! I wish they told me the exact inches before I drove one hour to get there. All they said was yea they get big
