Ever been asked not to answer questions in the store?

Two I frequent most are Petco and Nolan's in Lakeland.

Not sure how Nolan feels about it but I know Petco is rather frownish on the matter.

The evening guy at Walmart Prefers I don't volunteer info since it does kinda cut into their model but he won't stop me from giving a full answer.

I don't answer questions about marine.

Anybody ever been asked to keep silent or leave, or fill out an application?

Totally, I think my Petsmart hates me.
It really doesn't matter to me though, I believe that people need to be informed about betta care, so if I see someone buying a tiny tank or something I'm going to say something.
I have never been asked to leave Petsmart, when Petcetra was still around I got shown the door a few times.

There's an absolutely poor maintenanced petstore that I earned ire from after I tried to stop one customer from buying too many goldfish for a tank he described to be at least 30g.

Unless you were talking someone into getting something less expensive or buying elsewhere, I don't see the point in them getting mad at you.
You would be helping them get more money!

Petsmart knows better than to double cross me. I've already turned them into corporate for bad care and I'm one of their best regular customers.

It also doesn't hurt that I happen to make their 7+ drink coffee order most mornings

lol. This girl was feeding the bettas and she asked me why they couldn't live together. She didn't know that males and females couldn't be kept together except for breeding purposes only.

lol! Yes, they feed them, 3 times a week, I think. I think they feed them when they change the water.
