Exclamation Anyone know anything about swordtails?

Hey guys, if you know anything about swordtail fish please post here. I am having a problem with mine. So they got moved to a new tank yesterday and seemed fine. This morning when I woke up, they had little white goopy spots all over them and their fins were tattered. I have no idea whats wrong with them. They also weren't eating like they usually do. I tried doing some research and found nothing. I put them in QT with aqurium salt. I'm not sure what treatment to give them! Help! Thanks!

White goopy spots? Like someone sprinkled salt on them? If so, that's ich. It's common. They sell meds for it.

If it's not ich, I dunno. Can you get a pic?

I think it's starting to go away. I had them in salt for about 7 hours yesterday and they seem fine and eating normally now. But the only thing is that their tails seem tattered at the ends and are white. It just seemed to happen overnight though.... I think it was just stress from being moved to a new tank. If anything else happens, I will be sure to post.
