Unhappy All guppies just died!

Ok, something has seriously gone wrong! I was changing my guppy water the same way I always do and when I put my guppies and my tetra in it they all just died! I'm not lying! All of them just flat out died! The tetra died slower, the male and female guppy died instantly! I have city water. How can I prevent this with my fish? How did they all just die?

I dont know honestly. I'd ask around on a few forums for guppies. I'm so sorry for your loss but perhaps they just can't adjust? Or maybe the female who died had a disease and it spread?

Well you may be right. I have made arrangements to get my new guppies tomorrow when I get my tank because It's lonely here without them. All schools in WV (Besides year round schools) are on spring break and I decided to stay home for my female guppy to drop while I'm around and she dies and then all of them flat out die. I've been keeping my guppies in a bowl since my 20gal cracked. I don't have the money saved for it all so I can only get a 10 gal and a new breeder net. I use my guppy breeding to earn money for my guppies by selling them and all the money I earned from my most recent (which wasn't very recent) fry is all they have in their budget. Oh well, I have some money I can use that isn't what they earned for me.

Only about a week. My 20 gallon tank cracked so I moved them to a bowl until I could get a 10 gallon which I was going to get tomorrow.

Fish need oxygenated water to breathe. (Except bettas) If your bowl had no disturbance in the surface (filter, airstone, etc) to replenish this, they could have ran out of oxygen.

How big was the bowl you had them in now, and how many fish were there? Did you do any water changes?

Same questions for when you were younger. How many fish and how often was the water changed?

It might have been the number of fish using the oxygen, so it got used faster.

I had two fish when I was younger and the bowl was changed once a week.
I just Now had 3 fish in there and the bow had been changed twice that first week and now it was starting the second week so I changed the water again.
