Just a little irony I noticed: in my UserCP, it said New Sucscribed Threads, and under that, it said Animal Cruelty, by laughing. I found that irony amusing... but about the fish see if the kids can get together and scrounge up 30$ for a ten gallon(10$) from Walmart and a filter for about 20$. Sure, there will be no decor, but there will be a happy fish. (I know comets need 20+ gallons but still)

Comets get just as big as common goldfish and should really be in 50 gallons +. They get to at least 10 inches in the right care.

Wow, I wouldn't even post a video of my fish if she looked like that. I'd feel ashamed!

Neil D, people message me saying they enjoy saying "New post from laughing!" ;)

@ laughing hahaHahaha! That must be amusing...

Topic: my small fantail had a ten g to himself with a good filter and 20% water changes once or bi weekly!!!! and food with occasional blood worm treats and of all things that could go wrong, he got killed by the filter intake. My friend had a pleco and gfish in a ten gallon and they lived for six and eight years respectively. He also never cleaned the water and they got fed once a week if they were lucky.

It seems that fish that live in neglected tanks actually live longer.
I think this is so because a lot of people the constantly clean their tank may not do it properly, causing stress on the fish. Whereas the neglected fish have been left to settle. It's a case of being as least invasive as possible.

After about 6 months of keeping fish, you pick up the 'knack' of cleaning tanks properly. My first setup was a complete disaster, but I tried again and kept on trying and now none of my fish have died in my care for a very long time.

Omg... the 2.5 in the classroom has 2 new additions. Another goldfish, and a pleco/catfish type thing. I know it's one of those because it is a bottom dwelling fish a "sucker" fish so to speak. SERIOUSLY?!? I guess kids bring them in for her and she accepts. >.<

They seem to have internal parasites, too. Probably from not quaranteening the new additions!
