His body shape and face look spot on like my Huey, even down to the lil boy wrinkles around his eyes. But you're right about his spotting looking kinda different. They do show a lot of variation in spotting. In that link they talked about a Carinotetraodon imitator, which looks very similar to a dwarf puffer but can get to be 1.5 inches, so maybe?
