ok well back to fish...

tisia, here's Beau's new mustache. It's just barely coming in... like stubble...

A few of Pencil in his current state. :(

Lastly, Wingnut, whose eyes have not gone down in swelling since I got him over a month ago.

Wow, I still can't believe he has big eyes. Maybe it's a genetic side effect of the big ear breeding?

Diablo, ask why about what?

Nothing, I have bad experience with Tetra, but I wanted to know about Top fin.smellie, since when has Beau turned green? And Pencil looks big 0.0 I really hope he gets better, him and Wingnut both.

Tetra and Top Fin both are kind of cheap and I don't trust them to work reliably.

Thanks Diablo. I am not sure when Beauregard started to turn greenish... I didn't notice till these pics. He has more color on the edges of his fins, so I guess that is what it is... he reminds me of Christmas. :P

Sakura, I know right?! He's in 2 tsp/gallon epsom salt now... daily water changes... but, I am going to up it to 3tsp/gallon in the next day or two. I've lost track now of how long I've been doing the epsom salt but it's probably been a week or so.

Ok. The Duetto is cycleable, right? I need to go to my LFS for a heater.......most of the ones you recommended are preset, all at 78, puffers need 80. My LFS has good fish, but crazy expensive......a heater is probably going to run me 35$ 0.0 anyway, night......and please answer, because I will read :P

Good night Diablo.

The Penn Plax Cascade is adjustable and so is the Eheim Jaeger. I'll do a bit more research for you. And yes, Duetto is cycleable.

Smellie, Wingnut is okay otherwise, though, right? Just big eyes?

Apparently my little sister can't sleep without lights on, and I sleep in complete darkness, so apparently I'm going to be on here a while yet. What the hell, it's Saturday anyway. And thanks for doing research :)

This is the Cascade heater I use the most.
http://www.amazon.com/Cascade®-Heat®...5711019&sr=1-2
You'd want to use the 25w. They're adjustable too and short so they fit in a lot of smaller tanks.

Tisia uses these Hagen Elite heaters
http://www.amazon.com/Elite-Submersi.../dp/B00106X8QG
They say preset but you can adjust them.

Edit:
If you get a Marineland, get the Marineland Visi-Therm 25w because it's adjustable.
