I got some to give to my snails and my guppies. I only have one clip to hang it on the tank wall, though, so for the snails I had to just anchor it down with . . . well, the snail. So I guess the stuff'll float up when the snail moves.

Amph, it's basically unsalted nori. I could make sushi with it.

EDIT: DQ, haha, yeah, I notice he's one of your most frequent posters. Not sure if that's good or bad, haha.

hmmmmm.
i wonder if i could saw bits out of a hood to make the filter go where i want it to. since i already bought the filter, i'd hate to just return it...though they havent shipped it and i bought it FRIDAY ugh
tempted to cancel it. if i do i'll go to walmart and look at the internal filters.

Technically, the tank can still go against hte wall. It just can't go flat against the wall. It would have to stick out about 2", or however much the filter would stick out.

yes that is true. i think it'd work with the filter on the back, i think my mom is just paranoid that it'll get knocked down
and she wants the 1 gallon with Reuban in it in the BATHROOM on the SINK

i do not want my baby in the bathroom on the sink >.< that's more likely to fall than the huge 29g!

Tell your mom not to worry. Hang-on-back filters are designed to not get knocked down. :) I think you'd have to swing at it with a baseball bat to knock it down.

Poor Reuban. But then again, my boy Flamingo lives on the bathroom sink and he is my best bubblenester. Go figure. Ah, but if you use things like hairspray in the bathroom, then the sink is not a good place for him because the spray can get into the tank and it isn't good for him. I don't use hairspray so I don't worry about that part.

I'm sorry, Amph. :(

I keep putting frozen BBS in my 29 for my guppy fry but I don't think they even see it. I have a feeling I'm just dirtying up the water and will have to do a water change sooner than usual. I wanted to get some anachris to float in there but my Petsmart stopped selling plants last week and I can't get to an LFS for several days. Poor little fry.
