Hi guys. Olympia and DQ, thanks for the bettababy suggestion. I PMed her. Poor Train, I just don't know what else to do for him, short of trying to pull the blockage out with tweezers.

Rocky, I'm so sorry you lost more boys. :( And I'm glad you had fun at fanime. Did you cosplay?

Laki, hmm. I might be in trouble. None of my kitties are very good at getting their nails trimmed. Since they all came to us as more or less grown strays, I never had a chance to train them to get used to being handled and clipped so they go ballistic. I wonder if it's something the vet could apply. Do you reuse the caps and just reglue them on or do you have to buy a new set ever 3 weeks?

JIMJAM! I missed you! Where ya been, buddy? Don't sulk, I would've said hi if I had been online.

In my opinion, AQadvisor is a good benchmark to get started with but it should by no means define what you put into your tank. There are too many other factors to consider. In general, I usually think you can add a good 4-5 more fish more than what AQadvisor says, depending on the species.

Micho, hey that's pretty good then. You got an HM without having to pay the big price for it. :D

Who asked about sororities? I have 7 in mine, will be adding at least 1 more when she grows up. I tried to add my orange butterfly girl but she's mean. If I had any suggestions, it would be to overfilter. I have an AquaClear 20 on mine and I don't think it's enough. I'd suggest a filter rated for at least 30 gallons.

I love wildly active shrimp! Too bad the darn trumpets keep eating their food.

Hoping I get a new tank tomorrow... hoping.

Wed . . . oh, it's only Monday. For some reason, it totally feels like Friday or Saturday here. So it's not too long.

Are your plants doing okay?

lost everything but the java fern, java moss... one anubias and two rosette plants that I was told are not aquatic, yet they are slowly growing roots!
I believe amazon swords are on sale 2/5. Part of the trouble is needing the car, that tank will take up the entire back seat.
