More everything! :D:D
I need to go to the store again too. But we haven't gotten a plant shipment in and the stocks are so depleted. :(
And they have like 10 female betta in a bare tank with 2 grown angel fish. And they all pick on each other and it's sad. Next time that awesome guy is there I'mma bring it up to him. :(

taking a break from fish-keeping.

I don't know why stores always put bettas with angelfish. But then, one LFS had their female bettas with elephantnoses in a 20gal. Poor girls were probably getting shocked.

That's common? Jee.
The other LPS has a blood parrot with one eye, that's been there forever. I brought it up to the guy at the LFS and he was like "oh yea I've heard of that fish. There's also a -insert saltwater fish here- that's huge in a tiny tank and really sick. People always talk about that store to me and how much it's worsened over time."

gouramis here. I'll pick up the cute lil cambo girl if she's still there.. after two weeks. Gotta be careful tho, where my latest who turned out to be a pk came from.
I got close to 20 trumpets in tho, just siphoned them and some soil out, I could probably grab a couple of giants to toss in, they made the population explode.

It's funny, I put in a small chip of algae wafer, trying to attract some snails, all it attracted was the giant adults, 1/2" and bigger

Okay, so I found out that one of the BEST freshwater magazines in the world, Amazonas, is available online for free. Free! It was a German magazine, but they make it in English now.
You won't really find a lot of betta things, but it's great if you're into other fish. :)
Plus it's got pretty pictures. Just click "current issue."

Also, as a side note- that thing on the website main page- origin of the flowerhorn? Except if that's from lake Malawi then I don't think it is. >_< Then again, we'll never know.
