I don't know how fast they grow actually. I have too many to keep track of. My few bladder snails in my new tank are pretty much adult size in a week from what I can tell.

Whoever said shrimp have low bioload, mine have an almost constant stream of poop coming out. xD

It's true, they poop and eat. And supposedly breed.

lol that is what they do :) I have a lot of very nice pics of my snails but there is poop all over the background!! lol SO far, the breeder pond and ramshorns have been more interesting than my assassins.. Which were my pet breed of snail for choice -_- Me fail.

I should really be doing water changes on *pauses to count* 11 betta tanks. But it's in the 90's and I just did a change on the 29gal and changed two litter boxes. Someone tell me they'll be okay till tomorrow.

*drags self off to get rolling trashbin and siphon hose*

It's not the emptying that's a pain, it's having to fill them all back up carrying water in a 1 gallon jug from the bathroom.

Silverfang, I'm so sorry about Aphrodite. :( *hugs*

I forgot to get assassins again when I went to the LFS that has them. I want those plant-eating snails outta my 20gal!!!! Not to mention there are now more snails than fish in the 29gal. Ooooh Sparky, wanna treat?

I wonder if he would. Probably not! How's he doing! Tell him to use his powers so I don't fail the electricity part of my exam tomorrow! D:

Hey LAki, want a pile of pond snails? They must have been on the outside of the breeder box and when they hatched they crawled inside for the food.

Gotta be a dozen or so in there alone. And I can get them out easily with my trusty turkey baster.

LOL. Sparky is sending electric waves your way now. He's doing well. Much more active than I expected. Still won't go in his white pipe tunnel. Instead, he crams himself under th fake mangrove root decoration in the corner. I got the filter intake out and put a log of cholla wood in for him to push around. When he's not in that corner, I'll put it back on the filter but since he's spending a lot of time hiding there, I don't want to stick my hand in and startle him. "AAAGH! Big hand coming my way! ZZZT!"
