wow good luck, Olympia!

super cool that you already know what you want to do by the way. i'm 21 and had 2 and a half years of college and still don't know. interested in being a vet for exotics though.

Congrats Olympia! I'm excited for you. Let me know if you have a pregnant mama shrimp!

I was greeted by 7 hungry ladies again. Of course this was after I saw Orange Blossom chasing my super stress striped girl like a fish on crack. No torn fins, stripy can move! I don't see any new injuries. A few girls had nipped fins when I got them, but I saw signs of regrowth on them. Oh well, these 7 are just adjusting to each other.

Thanks Sakura! At first when I saw her I was like... eh, not to impressed, but as time went on I was awwww, cute!

I've gotta get studying for my midterm on Tuesday, hooray for a 3 day weekend. Had a wonderful day out.

Yesss I wanna do exotics, or avian if I feel being super specialized will be worth it.
The vet office is one of two in my town that does exotics but the tech said they almost never get them in. :(
I have no clue how school in the states works. Here to be a vet, 3 years of a science/math undergrad, then you move to vet college, 4 years for the basics and I can only imagine a few more years for exotics/specialization.
That's why spaying a dog costs $500 here. >_>

For Canada, vet tech is college, only 2-3 years I think.
And I've known what I wanted to be pretty much all my life. Well, I used to want to be a farmer... Hahahah, but I'm way too wimpy to work 365 days a year all day long. xD

Oh, yeah, vets are really qualified for their Job. They pretty much go to medical school. Even the vet assistants need to have some sort of qualification, I believe. Silver, you said fish on crack? Give me a minute to find a relevant song to......edit.

It basically is medical school.. I think med school is 8 years while vet school is 7 (again basics for both). Gotta know your calculus, your physics, Chem, bio, biochem, all the good stuff. -__-

Yup. All that animally science stuff.

......you'd be surprised at how little songs you can add "fish on crack" to that'll make sense......
