I'm pretty sure there are 28 in the continental US right now. Don't quote me on that, though. I have no idea about Alaska or Hawaii. Cornell has a 11%-ish acceptance rate for veterinary students. Im think it was like 11.7 or something like that. Not very high. I wanna be a vet. There's a Veterinary college right near me, too. The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Instate tuition for both Maryland and Virginia. They make allot of money, too. I just looked it up, according to wikipedia(close enough, am I right?) the average studented out of school but continuing studies makes 43 grand a year, someone out of school and NOT continuing studies makes 67 grand a year, and someone owning a private practice makes around 120 grand a year. Wow.
Edit: Out of all 28 veterinary schools in the US, there's a 46% general acceptance. It's highly competitive, though.
