Funniest thing ever, we had a med student come speak to us, he was like 5-6 years in I think. So not done yet. I quote: "I don't even remember calculus anymore."
WHY do we have to be put through this?!

I think those red fish were dwarf rasbora.

I no have to take maths ever again
I only took 2 years of it in high school and 1 in college. Failed miserably 2X
Just alot of reading and writing for grad school. I wanted to be a vet but its WAY harder to get into then med school and your greatest chance is the school closest to you. For me that would of been CORNELL UNIVERSITY. Yeah, not gonna get into there and couldn't afford it if I did. In 1997 there were less then 20 vet schools in the USA

I'm pretty sure there are 28 in the continental US right now. Don't quote me on that, though. I have no idea about Alaska or Hawaii. Cornell has a 11%-ish acceptance rate for veterinary students. Im think it was like 11.7 or something like that. Not very high. I wanna be a vet. There's a Veterinary college right near me, too. The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Instate tuition for both Maryland and Virginia. They make allot of money, too. I just looked it up, according to wikipedia(close enough, am I right?) the average studented out of school but continuing studies makes 43 grand a year, someone out of school and NOT continuing studies makes 67 grand a year, and someone owning a private practice makes around 120 grand a year. Wow.

Edit: Out of all 28 veterinary schools in the US, there's a 46% general acceptance. It's highly competitive, though.

VERY competitive. You guys are lucky.
Canada has, Guelph, PEI, Alberta (only availible to Alberta residents), and Montreal (full French) offering vet programs. There may have been one in BC but I'm not sure.
I have 2 schools that I have a chance at.

Oh, so guys. Is it illegal to ship anacharis, java moss, willow moss, and Rotala across the border from the US to Canada?

Probably. You should check the plant&wildlife regulations.

Yeah, I knew there weren't very many in the USA and cornell was not gonna happen so I got a BA in history instead. No calculus, chemistry, physics required. I did take alot of geology since I had that for a minor.

How is that not overstocked? don't adult trapdoors need to be in like a pond? They aren't in the 20 anyways. Not sure it would be too much for a new cycle or not.

MO - I know you can take houseplants across the border assuming they have never been outside or something weird like that. In may my boyfriend went back to Alaska and returned with a U haul and had all kinds of houseplants with him.

And I did it in January with bettas.
