:( Is it an inner ear infection?

Yes, Bekah should put the filter on the 29.

EDIT: I'm so sorry, Guns. :( *hugs*

ah hehe
glad we got that sorted out.

I'm not surprised that it maybe diatom algae. I am currently battling it. BUT since adding the Anacharis, it is not appearing as fast as it usually is within a week.

How would I be able to tell the difference between diatom and hair algae?

should i put the filter on the same end of the tank as the 40i? or on the other side of the tank? also i will probably have to find that one filter baffle tutorial again.

FishyFishy, diatom algae tends to be pale golden colored. Hair algae is pretty green and can get really long. As far as I know. There's so much confusing info about algae. -___-

Opposite end, Bekah. :) Your tank will be nicely filtered.

EDIT: Elizabeth, :) That would be an interesting guy who chose the Japanese word for cherry blossoms for his username. :)

Cause men can have large-ish kitty sitting ontop of fish tanks xD

What users fish tank would you(everyone) love to see in person?
