Oh yeah. I need to figure out what to eat for dinner. Bah.
Went to two different pet stores looking for more congo tetras but I didn't find any. I want a school of at least 5, since they are happiest. I'm not overly worried about the 29 being too small for that many because . . . well . . . I have an odd thing: non-betta fish rarely grow to their maximum length in my care. WHY?! Am I underfeeding? But if I overfeed, I get algae! I'm feeding good food! Why don't you grow? My cories have not grown since I got them. They are still about 1.5 inches and they are supposed to be like 2 or 3". The only fish I've ever gotten that actually grew was that darn fathead minnow.
Can't be overcrowding or too small of a tank either. I don't know why they don't grow.
