Wait. So today I noticed that we use formalin to preserve tumors and stuff.
Formalin is also used as fish medicine.
Formalin = formaldehyde.
We treat our fish with stuff used to preserve dead bodies. o.o

That's why when we use formalin to treat fish, we have to be super careful not to overdose.

EDIT: Elizabeth, yay for Remus!

Starting Furan-2 with Derpy today..If this does not work I GIVE UP!
Also looked at the fish selection - not very exciting except the diamond tetras. I wants them :(

Quote:
QUICK STATS Minimum Tank Size: 10 gallons Care Level: Moderate Temperament: Peaceful Water Conditions: 75-82 F, KH 4-8, pH 6.0-7.5 Max. Size: 2" Color Form: Orange, White Diet: Omnivore Origin: Venezuela Family: Characidae
People on here said I needed at least 30 gallons for them but Dr fosters and Smith says 10.... Can they be kept with bettas

Also is putting baby betta into a breeder tank in the 20G a good or bad idea? I don't want the girls to harass it but I don't want to keep it in a 1G. I want it to grow and I hae noticed with the girls, when they were in pet keepers they stayed small even with regular WC's. Once I put them into the 10G they sprouted like weeds. In the 20G they grew even more

Diamond tetras are a variant of the regular neon tetra. Your 20 has females, right? If you get a school of 10, they should be fine in a 20 with female bettas. I successfully kept 10 neons in a 10gal before so that many should be fine in a 20.

You can put a baby in a breeder's net in the 20 but you'll probably run into the same problem as with a 1 gal: confined space. Exactly how big is your baby? Is it really teeny or is it larger than that? I kept my baby in a 1.75gal kritter keeper for about a month and then released her into the sorority and she's doing fine. But then, my girls are crazy mellow 99% of the time soo . . . My best recommendation is head to Wal-Mart and get a good-sized Rubbermaid shoebox type container for the baby.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised. Tetracycline is acne medicine.
I've also seen metrodinazole, but it's actually used to treat dogs.
