There is one big problem that goes along with a hamster, my niece. She already wants to constantly go my room to see my fish, but with a furball in there too well I'd have to hog tie her and carry her to get her out. It's not that I mind her in there it's just I have a lot of dangerous item like my guns in there (though locked up) as well as breakables and loseables like my tanks and my mable collection (yes I know exactly where my marbles are XD). and she has the natural curiosity of a 6 year old. O.O

It's a common goldfish. I thought they needed 55+

Good morning. How long should I age this water before putting my goldfish in? It's 75g and has been up since yesterday afternoon. I'm going to use some water conditioner, but we don't have enough at the moment to condition all of it.

Haha I saw, he's pretty strict on tank sizes and since goldfish are extremely active I'd see why he'd say that, he looks more at activity of a fish than size.

Also, I wouldn't keep a 12" JD in a standard 55 gallon, considering those are 12" wide, it can cause spinal issues. Always good to have a few extra inches width wise.

I didn't know what those were, so I looked them up. They're pretty cute, but I don't want over-aggressive fish. It would stress me out, worrying so much. I'd have to keep it alone. xD

Hey, peeps, I have a question. thekoimaiden hasn't gotten back to me yet, but I need to know how long to wait to add Comet. We don't have enough water conditioner for all these gallons, so we are trying to age it and use some of the water conditioner to help with the stress and such. We set it up yesterday afternoon and got the filter running

Long not wide, and I have never ever seen one get that big in captivity, and few fish could save those that belong in a pond. Yall need to realize whatever the internet says it could be it won't because from my experiance the internet is wrong most of the time.

In all honosty the only two aquarium fish I have ever seen get a foot is nurse shark and a bichir, and they were over two feet in an indoor pond. A beautiful piece of work as a matter of fact.

I am really having a lousy day, the [et store I went to didn't have my assassin snails, the had a nice 10g on sale with a stand, beautiful guppies for sale, but then had butterfly fish (the first time I've seen them) making me want to buy a 20g. So now I'm more comfounded than ever!
