Aw baby snells!!
I just put the report binder things on all 4 sides of the divider. It's sturdy as heck. I'll let it run for a few days and probably add the fish on the weekend. Providing I can get some BB growing. I'll not rinse their things before adding it?

Sorry about Babycakes :( She sounded like a fighter.

As for your krib...have you had a fish named Zelda yet :)

e: Laki, that'll probably help. Did they have any filter media in their old tanks?

Relic, yesterday raccoons tore open my bag of koi food and helped themselves. o.O That 2 lb bag cost $16, you stripey bandits!

Sooo, the day an AB auction is ending is NOT a good day to have a narcolepsy episode. Just found out I was outbid in the last moments while I was asleep. No rock kribs for me. :( Now to try the Nkata Bay labidochromis caerulus auction, I guess. I think I may suck at bidding though. Maybe just see if one of my LFS can special order . . .

JimJam, I'm so sorry about Babycakes. :( And uh, yeah, might wanna try calling Little Dude Little Dudette.

I feel so out of it.

Hey Sakura, can you pronounce "Nkata Bay labidochromis caerulus"?
Just wondering. I had the most awkward time at the store when I asked if they can get bichir in and the guy showed me some cichilds and I was like "uhhh noo..." and I eventually just said "polypterus" and then he got the message. >_< I can't pronounce ctenopoma either.
Baby cichlid photos coming up in the other fish photos thread!

taking a break from fish-keeping.
3 lovely male betta still keep me company.

So the guy knew what polypterus was but he didn't understand bichir? That makes about as much sense as truthful politician.

I just.. wasn't pronouncing it the same way as him.
Apparently there's no universally agreed upon way to pronounce it's name.
I was saying "biker" (read that online) then I tried bich-err (what I always thought). He was saying bee-shur.
What a name.

Yes. Lol. Relic, raccoons are funny. A police officer I know was working one night during the winter and she stopped at White Castle to get a hot chocolate. When she was finished with it she pulled up to a trash bin somewhere, rolled her window down and disposed of the cup which still had a little hot chocolate in it. A couple of seconds after throwing the cup away a raccoon appeared out of the trash bin with the cup inhis hands. He threw the cup at the police car, getting hot chocolate on the side of the car and some on the police officer. Lol
