Nice!

Also OMG I just tested the Ph in my 5.5g it buried the needle on my low end test kit and I had to use my high end, IT WAS 7.8!!!

Holy crap no wonder my little spikey wasn't getting better. I've started treatment with ph decrease. I hope I can decrease it gradually enough to not harm my poor little fishies. :(

pH decrease.. probably won't help unless you're controlling your kH as well..

kh?

I have a full range test kit and just tested for everything ammonia, nitrite, hi and lo ph, and nitrate. The ph was the only abnormal reading but I didn't do the nitrate as this really only affect marine fish unless in the extreme.

I think I've been over feeding due to the cory, I feed him flakes. Also possibly the pong snail outbreak.

Yes, kH, carbonates, are the controlling factor of pH, and products that lower your pH will be temporary at best if you don't reduce your carbonates to a proper level. The master test kit doesn't include tests for carbonate or general hardness.

*censored* I have an air stone, that explains the kh. I added because I thought the cory could use it. Should I remove it to allow absorbtion of CO2?

Cory doesn't need it, but it does explain the rise in pH so I'd remove it.
Unless the cory is going up for air every 2 minutes there's no problem. They do like to go up for air every now and then and that's totally normal.
