nice pic. and someone tell me how this works because i may have to break my delta's heart.
i put my new guy i got in the tank and some hours later i see my delta starting to make a bubble nest in the corner. he ususally doesn't do this because he spends most of his time flaring at his neighbor that sits in the critter keeper next to him.
does he honestly think he is going to romance my algae eater???????

Yuuie, I think your delta is a little confused.

Tiki, Ba Sing Se looks very handsome! And he looks like he's doing well in there.

Olympia, weeellllll . . . I really like the black ghosts best. Something about those little faces and the way their pectoral fins look like puppy dog ears. I'll wait until I can get the proper tank. Although, I DO have that weird stunting effect on fish . . .

Anyway, night everyone!

Sakura, I don't think a black ghost knife would fit with cichlids unless the cichlids need like 6 pH....and a full grown knife needs like a 75 gallon.....

A full grown, 20 inch knife needs a tank with 2feet of width and 2 feet of height. Length is up for dispute, anything from 4-6 feet sounds good. But that puts it at 120-180 gallons.
If they make 4x2x2 aquariums that could work. I don't know still seems crowded. But then the fish isn't that active. But it's nocturnal so maybe it'd be active at night.
This is why tank size isn't a solid fact.
I had a dream that I got a 6x2x2 tank and got a ghost knife (thanks Sakura). Along with angel fish and a school of pacu. PACU!

taking a break from fish-keeping.
3 lovely male betta still keep me company.

Speaking of dreams....
I dreamt me and hubby got into quite the fit, left each other and my dream ended with us starting to come back together.
That's a nightmare for me. I've never liked it when we argued and involuntarily pull him into guilt.

Ah, sorry, Olympia. I haven't looked up fish for a pretty long Time, maybe it was that juvenilles need 75 gallons or something. I saw this River Monsters show on Animal Planet where this guy, Jeremy Wade, I believe, goes around catching rare freshwater species that have killed people. He went to South America on reports that while some guys were swimming on seperate occasions, something came up and bit off their....genitals 0.0 it turns out it was Pacu. Tribes around that part were cannibalistic, and the Pacu grew to like the remaining scraps....turns out one of the guys survived, and they interviewed him and confirmed the attack did happen how it was described. Think about that for a while and you'll get it.
