I agree with you... Stealing it isn't the way.

I'll give you a gold star if you can eat a single Balut.

Check this thread out if you want a betta to cuddle with you. This is Jrf456's thread.

Oh I saw that a while ago. Didn't realize she never got permission to do that.

And this is why I don't go on the betta forum pretty much ever. These people are insane.

Haha yea here mostly. And the other fish section. And sometimes the disease section, or whatever strikes my fancy when I'm on my iPod and every thread pops up. xD

A lot of these new members scare the poop outta me.

need some advice on a minor emergency.

I've had some sick girls recently, and I'm down to two in the sorority right now. Well two, enough said. I pulled out my little lady who has had the snot chased out of her by the bully. She looks mostly stressed, and with what looks like superficial fin wounds. My thoughts, will she be okay in a breeder box in my sorority? The water is pristine there, I'd even add a sprig of cabomba or two into the box to give her better security until I can add my ladies in.

Now the concern. The breeder box was last used to house shrimp, and it got very... algaey covered. It was so covered I gave it to my baby snails who had great fun.

The box (it's one of those mesh ones with plastic edges) still smells of algae, but it has been cleaned in hot hot water. Will it be safe to let her chill in that, regrow her fins, and when my new lady and other girl heal up I can put all four back in. (With cupping the other girl and adding my driftwood... and investing in another girl so I'll be back to the minimum 5).

My girls are vicious, and prone to disease :/

She should be fine.. algae doesn't hurt fishies. If anything it'll make her feel more secure, block out the view from the bully a bit more.

that's what I was thinking. Although she'll probably be visited at night by trumpets. They do like to climb. I figure a few bits of plant matter will make her feel safer. I'll just have to remove pushy Iris when I go to release them all back in.
