No I mean an African barb. :p It's like... with a red tail. (Man I'm good).
Taz said that too but agreed about my point that they've been captive bred for so long that parameters don't really matter. xD

taking a break from fish-keeping.

o.O I'll uh, have to take your word on the African barb. Can't say I recognize that species, hahaha.

Yeah. As long as you know you're getting captive-bred angels, they should be fine.

Bare in mind they require a school of minimum 6 to be happy, a group of about 10 is preferred.

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)

TAZ!

You mean those barbs? Yea, that's why I'm saying 4 feet is overcrowding them.
Unless you mean the angels.

The barbs

4ft is a little too small unless you have a ton of open swimming area.

Says they're rare anywho.
Sad that it may come down to breaking the biotope idea but I just HAVE to have something in the mid section of the tank. Those angels are looking better and better at the point.

This is what I want to do with the tank. With more caves obviously.. but barren on the bottom so bichirs can scoot around, then anubias and other floaters on the driftwood, with open patches so bichir can still breach. The plants will provide lot's of shade, and almost split the tank in half, which will hopefully provide success in keeping the angels and the buffalo heads together. There will also be a raft (more shade!) since apparently ropefish like chilling on land sometimes.

Looks good in my head (not in paint apparently) and I feel like I've thought of everything.. wonder how this will play out.

Hmm jaysee says angelfish would get torn up by bichir. Gonna ask Sang about it too. He also told me that his bichir is 6" and his congos are fine.
If everything depends on individual bichir than how am I supposed to plan everything to be safe?! Fish shouldn't have personalities.

DARN ITdjvnoesjgdkiwurfh.
Nothing works out for me. :(
I need a nice medium sized mid dweller.
