Yeah. We're getting girls because my husband is goofy, and uncomfortable with their visible no-no parts. It's ridiculous, really. He's weird, but I love him. xD <3

I've been wondering where you went Tiki!
still lurking the the parking lot

I had to call tech support 2X and either I got the same girl or their support team is located in India.

ANyways, Mah plants from planted aquarium central arrived.
so..um...they have this metal twist tie thing around them - am I supposed to remove that before planting? I tried that with the foxtail and that didnt go so well so I stick the roots under a pagoda decoration. Othereise they keep floating away.

My next day off, I'm gonna rearrgange everything.

When you receive these plants they will arrive with a weight wrapped around the bottom of the plants. First remove the weight and if any discoloration of the plant or any decay or dead leaves are present give the plant a fresh cut above this area of the plant(NOTE: the trimming of this material will in no way harm the plant). Next; plant the individual stems of the plant in the planting material/substrate, plant anchors will aid in planting of these types of stem plants.
ok so if i remove the weight, how does it aid in planting??

should i get some flurish? or root tab things

You can buy separate plant anchors that are safe. What sort of substrate do you have and how much?
