hallooooo

tried to add another layer to my divider because Swish and Reuban don't seem to like each other lol. though Swish was bubble nesting this morning. But rearranged things in there, put plants next to the divider...idk if it'll help, but Swish is biting his tail again and i hope it will help.

Also i cleaned Zeddie and Frogger's tank. then i tried to hold Frogger and get him to try a bottom feeder wafer (because the pet store lady said that their frogs ate them) and he was like wtf? let me swim away. Sooo maybe he'll get a bloodworm later.

And Buttercup is still hanging out on her own in the corner...maybe i need one more girl for when Inigo is courting one, and the other is lonely? Idk.

_double post-

Okay. So whatever kind of bug is in my tank is VERY hard to see. It kinda looks like little pieces of dust. Like these things are too small for the fish to even see. And the magnafying glass app I just dl'ed to my phone can't focus on them.. Everything I am reading is saying my tank is dirty but wouldn't these things only be present in a balanced, cycled tank??
Someone please help!

Eh Laki I wouldn't worry too much about buggies. I've had them in small uncycled tanks, but they don't last long.

Bekah, how did you hold the frog? o.o

taking a break from fish-keeping.

Hmm laki it could be water fleas, not to be confused with fish louse.

Try this site and see if any of those are it: http://www.planetinverts.com/what_is..._aquarium.html

DEAR PETCO,
BABY BETTAS SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED TO AMMONIA LEVELS THAT ARE SO HIGH THEY DO NOT EVEN REGISTER ON THE API AMMONIA TEST KIT. BLUE IS NOT EVEN AN OPTION!

poor thing. It's gills and mouth are both moving rapidly and it can't even swim up to the top of the cup to get air.
I have a cup inside a breeders box that is inside a 15ish gallon tub.
