Fish heal soo fast! Yesterday I was practicing flaring my fry and he had gotten a split all the way down his dorsal fin. Woke up this morning to check how it healed and its already 100% healed! Wow!

There are a few things in my tank I'd like to hide. I hid my heater the best I could in the big tank...hid it behind some drift wood. But you can still see my Co2 lines and the intakes for the filters. Once my swords get bigger they will hide those.

Maisy. They would grow faster with a larger variety of live foods

You are right, weight is in the corners. The bottom glass actually doesn't even touch the bottom of the stand, actually.
Yes, crappy particle board.
We bought a "heavy duty" stand that is supposed to hold 800lbs per shelf. My 15 gallon (let's say 170lbs) bowed the crappy particle board they give you. But the steel frame on it is pretty good, I'm sure THAT could hold the weight, but, particle board? Seriously, guys?

Ohh, ADA designs has glass intake tubes for canisters you can buy. I WANT. Really bad, but, uh, the whole "glass" thing terrifies me!

taking a break from fish-keeping.

We made our own stand out of 4x2's(?) and it holds some of my tanks. 6 1 gallon jars, 1 5 gallon tank, 2 10 gallons and 2 15 gallons, and a bunch of jarred fry jars. Around 15 or so and it isn't bowing at all

My plans are to set up a 60+ gallon discus tank the first of the year and I'll be getting a 3-D background for it, Cool thing about those backgrounds, is you can hide everything behind them.

We made the stand for the 90 gallon. Talk about tough stuff.
I can hear my canister splurting out water from upstairs. xD
I was looking at 3D backgrounds but that are expensivee.

Yeppers! They sure are pricey. I'm thinking about making my own....it doesn't look to difficult.
