Math: OK, so add S+R+P = 438 Now subtract 27, 44, and 33. Those three numbers were counted 2 times when you added S, R and P. You only want them to be counted one time. The ones in 27, 44, and 33 are in 2 groups.
So, 438-27,44, and 33 = 334
I actually just figured this out using the formula you posted. But you know that the total of all = 454, so now just subtract 334 from 454 = 120 the intersection of s, r and p is 120.
Because I am dyslexic, I see each number as being something, not a number but something. I see them as people. They could be nails, or pigeons, or cars. Or fish.
S = red fish R = blue fish and P = gold fish = 454 fish!
Only 120 of these are Bettas, 27 are goldfish, 33 are angels and 44 catfish!
I think thats how it works.. been over 30years, lol. Sorry if i have it wrong, and I know this is late, so you know the answer already.
