Olympia, I wanted a tortoise that got pretty big, like a foot or more. Snapping turtle would've been great if it wasn't for the being mean thing. Oh well. It's more like a wishful dream than an actual plan.

Tiki, I'm sorry but I really love that cat. I know he drives you up the wall but I find him so adorable! 'Course, I don't have to live with him.

Relic, are you sure that's a caterpillar? Looks like something off the Muppets.

Bekah, go for it!

DQ, I'm so sorry about Panda. If I remember, you've had him for quite a while, right? 2-3 years?

Tried to put my female swordtail in the 20gal so if she drops more fry, they'll have live plants. Flagfish chased her all over the place. Apparently he found her too flashy for his taste. Then spent 10 minutes setting up a QT tank with salt for a congo tetra who looks like it has lympho or columnaris. Spent 30 minutes trying to catch the right congo. Gave up. One has a red wound on his side from all the constant bickering they do but I don't think it needs salt. I'll just toss some Kordon Fish Protector in there. But a bit worried about the congo with the fuzzies.

Also, congos are funny. Once they are in the net, they will swim at the bottom, nose first, even if you open the end to release them. They won't turn around to swim out.

My hygrophila appears to be melting. The leaves are coming off in clumps. I hope I get healthy new growth after the old ones fall off.

What else. Hmm. Going to LFS tomorrow to get food clips, frozen food, and a sponge filter.

Anyways.

I only had Panda for about a month and a half. I just cleaned his critter keeper with vinegar and hot water. I rinsed it good and I'll rinse it good some more before putting Journey in there. I'm getting kind of paranoid and afraid of not rinsing the vinegar out good. I'm still smelling it on my hands even though I've washed them several times.
