Congratulations! Wish I could find a deal like that around here. (:

My rats are being super-sweet now. At first they were shy in their cage, now, they crawl up my arm to come play.

You will always be my best friend, .

My neptune heater was the most accuate one I had..till it broke on the way down here I think I paid like $6 for it off ebay. Marineland stealth is nice too as its shatterproof. I wish they still made the neptunes.

You could keep a senegal/armored/marbled in 55 (minimal)/75 (better) gallons. But they are freshwater unlike the dragon goby.
My mother would kill me If I got a 75 gallon tank. Although I am an expert at sneaking in fish and tanks

OK so tell me about bristlenose plecos. Liveaquaria.com says they need 30 gallons for one and TFK says 20 gallons are fine for 2. I want to add 1 or 2 into my 20g with 5 females and the male betta. Sand substrate, live plants and mopani wood are already in the tank. I did want more females but I think that may be pushing my luck with the guy in there and I dont want to disrupt the harmony those guys have.

Becka - i'll pay you later tonight. I dont go to get my check till late - to make sure its there since I work 30 miles away.

sakura- how are the snailies?

Tell her it's just a 20 gallon.
Tiki 2 BN plecos should do fine with your betta tank.

OMG my 4 foot T5 HO lights came today! -JOY- Only $110 for them.. vs... like $200 at the pet store for zoo med. They are also for hydroponics (haha) so they are water proof as well. They look AWESOME.
They came with some wires to hang them from the ceiling, which would be super cool, but probably not gonna happen!

taking a break from fish-keeping.
3 lovely male betta still keep me company.

I want some t050 whatever lights too...
*jealous*

That would be an awfully BIG 20G...Not sure the floor could hold 75 gallons of water - its a doublewide trailer so the floor isnt really on the ground - its like 2 feet off the ground

Yeah, you'd have a hard time explaining a large tank, sunk 2 feet into the floor of your room.
