Is that your tank Olympia!! The blessed 90g?

Sakura, it stops hurting after a while!! It become so numb and almost itchy. Don't mind them at all. Granted, my 2 tattoos I got like 6 years ago and with a homemade gun. I have never gotten a real tattoo!

aqadvisor tells me i'm "seriously over stocked" in my 29 gallon and "NEED" more filtration. the levels with my test tell me differently though. my little plants must do a lot.

i'd like to buy another like, internal filter for the 29 though. get the ugly HOB off the front!

Ya. Aqadvisor doesn't account for plants and all they do for a tank. Ahh the wonders of live plants!!

My mom got her ears pierced from a friend in college who "borrowed" her doctor father's piercing gun. They numbed her ears with ice and after one lobe, she said, "Forget it, just pierce it without numbing it." Holes are still there after 30 some years.

Schooling fish like rasboras and tetras are sometimes used as "dither" fish for shy dwarf cichlids but even so, the schooling fish need to be fast and have a place to hide.

What the heck is a "miniature" goldfish? Someone had two in a 30gal, along with two feeders, two bottom feeders, and two very stressed betta girls.

EDIT: Yes, but it wasn't known as AIDS back then so hence AIDS still didn't exist. The virus did but the virus we know as AIDS didn't. *splitting hairs*

Oooh, a lot of my friends have done a sowing needle and a potato to pierce their ears. xD
Siamese dolls are miniature goldfish but they are very rare and I doubt that's what this person has.

Miniature goldfish? No such thing well aside from the siamese dolls that are like a few thousand. Just stunted goldfish and young goldfish. Is it possible they were rosy reds?

Potato? What purpose does the potato serve?

Siamese doll . . . sound cute.

I love my hygrophila corymbosa, it sucks up nitrate like crazy. But I think it just was too shocked from being eaten by snails so it started dropping its old leaves like crazy. I started redosing the C02 supplement and maybe the extra iron helped it too. Been a day since it's dropped anything.

EDIT:

Izzy, that's an idea. Could've been rosy barbs too, those look like goldfish from a distance. Either way, the tank was clearly way overstocked. :(
