Sadly no, at the time I had no way of keeping him. Just a five gallon with a betta in it. And I'm sad! :(

Since then I bought an emergency fish bowl for either a QTT or temp lodging until I could set up a tank. In case I run into a petco stupid enough to mislabel again! :D

lol Good luck at the interview (I know I already said that) Enthusiasm and confidence = jobs.
I like elephant ear bettas. I would have split the 5 g in a heartbeat for it.. Unless the 5 g had a PK or short tail in it. I want more tanks but no where to put them. And this tank is enough trouble what with the algae, diotoms (I think that's what they are), and struggling plants (hornwort and hygrophilia are struggling).

"this afternoon" as in recently.. lol It's 1030pm here I'm like "how is the sun shining ANYWHERE in the world if its not here!". Glad it ent well! Cannot wait to hear outcome.
Bunny came out of her pen finally. Such a grump. She has a watery eye so I need to catch her and poke around her face again for lumps. How come nobody else gets the problem bunnies?!? It's always mine. waaaah

Laki, can you see Gamon's trapdoor shut? In my experience, if they don't move but you don't see a trapdoor, they have departed this plane of existence.
