Tiki, the bloody things are very tenacious and can lay dormant in the fish for months. Just when I think I've finally gotten rid of them and scrubbed everything, another fish comes down with them.

Tiki, my guess is yes, the calcium pill probably had an effect on the fishies. Who only knows what else they put in those, like preservatives and junk like that. Better off putting a wonder shell or a piece of cuttlebone in.

*whistles innocently* Always on the lookout for more snails to put in Sparky's tank. :)

Thanks Laki. I'm sorry about Gammon. :(

EDIT: Hi Kinetic! Pho is good too but I don't eat it very often for some reason. There are like ten pho restaurants in my town. Don't know why there are so many. o.O I didn't think we had that big of a Vietnamese population, seeing as we're a hick town.

memo to self - no more calcium pills
I changed 1/2 the water and removed what was left of the pill.

I had cuttlebone but it didn't really do much for the apple snail. That poor things shell eroded so bad he couldnt even get his fleshy stuff into the shell anymore.

The seller had it listed as a Tiger Nerite:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/320996118070...84.m1497.l2649

I ordered
2X clown plecos (hopefully one will live)
1 funky snail
$30 later....

I miss my cories but then again, since I hardly ever saw them maybe I don't. I know they're happier with Bekah.

Thanks, Laki. A fellow northern Californian. Don't get many of those here. We get a lot of Canadians on this forum. :D

Yaaargh, they've been sitting here on the dresser saying "Mail me!" for three weeks now. Yes, you can, Bekah. You certainly can.
