I just take all the dirty clohes, dump some detergent in and turn the washer on.

iki, judging by the pic it's a very pretty dress and your mother and sister can just go jump in the very cold lake. MY chief concern is will it stay up? Strapless dresses tend to gradually travel downward when I wear them. o.O I guess that's what happens when you have no bust.
I'm a DD, it will stay up .

I love shopping but NOT for clothes. My hips are way to large and my waist is alot smaller so finding pants or a dress that will work is almost impossible

Laundry is simple sakura. Most washers have directions under their lid and most detergent have measuring cups and directions as well. But if you are unsure on the direction check it's manual and if you don't have it check online for it.

First you must know what you're washing as in the material and whether it will shrink so checking the tag is a good idea. But typically you run on warm water.

Now on my washer there are four knobs one for water temperature, load size, rinse number, and load type. Typically I set it for (size depends on the size load I'm doing), water temperature I set for warm, mine I actually go with 2 rinses but 1 is really all that necessary typically, and as for type is usually set at regular. I usually do jeans and t-shirts. Now just follow the directions on the detergent as to how much for what size load.

And there you go! ^_^

All I separate are towels/socks/underwear from shirts/pants and voila.
Today I washed 5 loads of laundry.

We just came back from seeing Cloud Atlas! What a fantastic movie.

So I don't really need to worry about sorting by color and material? I was always under the impression that I had to wash all the like colors and stuff together and . . . why do I get the feeling I've been making laundry way more complicated than it really is?

Took out sick gourami. No idea what's wrong with it other than it is white as a sheet. Sure was lively when I tried to catch it, though. It can sit in Kordon Fish Protector for a few days while I figure out if it needs any other treatment.
