I will but he's being all skittish and shy at the moment, hasn't left his hammy house since I got him except late night to keep me up running on his wheel. >.<

I'll tame him and take some pics soon though because he is so cute you could scream! :3

As a child, I really didn't like having a hammy. The care didn't bother me. What bothered me was not being able to play with him during the day. Oh and his wheel marathons xD

I disliked waking him during the day. Especially since I know how I feel when suddenly woken in the middle of the night.

My hamsters when I was a kid had wheels. My last hamster lived to be almost 3 yrs old. I only gave hima wheel once a week or so because I lived in my room so he just came out and toddled around for hours, sometimes choosing not to come back to his cage until very very late. He was a gift for christmas when I was 17 years old! (wow, feeling old atm) My dog made sure Button didn't get anywhere bad and the cat wasn't allowed in my room.

I never had a dwarf hamster but I hear they're harder to tame?

I had 2 female hampsters when I was in high school. Rosemary and Nose Marie. They liked to bite at first and I think they lived 2.5 or so years. One died and the other one followed shortly after. I think the one had a stroke or something. All I remember was it's nose was bloody. I dont think I would want them again though - too small and they don't live very long. I like my chinchilla, she is big enough to hold easily and can live 20 years or more but they can have issues with teeth and a very sensitive digsestive system. Kinda of like bettas, by the time you sense something is wrong it's usually too late to do anything about it and most vets don't know a damn thing about them.
