Don't think it'll help Laki, snail shells are calcium and Epsom salt is magnesium.

My biology textbook just called peeing "emptying." I can't study biology anymore.

Everytime there is stagnant water I think of planaria. I can't drink out of my water bottle from my school bag unless I rinse it a few times. Those things just freak me out.

Ok! I'll pick up a cuttlebone next time I'm at dollar store.. But will it's presence in the water just make their shell strong? I know assassins won't eat it.

Yes the shell will corrode, putting the calcium in the water that the snail's body can then absorb and use.

ummmmmm. i think they just absorb the calcium. that's what i use. they sometimes snarf along the bone but mostly i think the hardness in the water helps them keep their shells nice
