When I move and finally have a free outlet and a place to put it, I want one of those Fountainwell cat fountains.

Good news, everyone! The kitten has found his home! His new parents came to get him today and they loved him even though he was a wild, freaky little cat who tore up my shoulder trying to get away. Hurray! Now my other cats can get back to normal. Or what passes as normal.

Going to Petco or Petsmart later. Need cat food. Oh yeah. And another oral syringe thingee to dose the plant fertilizers. And an algae sponge.

Heavily planted tank, triple filtered but still 40 ppm nitrates for a week? Whaaa? Do those little dwarf loaches really pack that much of a bioload?!?

Ahhh story of my life Sakura. I want to add a sump to the goldfish tank but I feel like I'd just fill the extra water space with more goldfish.

I can picture you filling it with rescued feeder goldies or something.

8:25PM: Breathing slow and laboured, fish laying on side with head pointing upwards. 1stp AQ salt and metro has been used since the weekend, water change yesterday. No sign of improvement expected from this point.
Despite her success with fish of the frail and tiny kind, every betta coming into Olimpia's care is doomed to get sick and die for some strange reason.
