Many of my scaly friends from my original tank from 2011 have passed, except for two! I am in the process of re-doing my tank. :)

I think he's a VT but since like 95% of his tail is gone, not so sure

Tiki, wow! That's awesome about the spawn and your new guy is so . . . so golden!

I am in a bind. Can't put the rat cage in the closet after all. No matter how I pile the clothes above the cage, they still get their little teeth on something. Have nibbled holes in the hems of two of my 3 dresses. One dress was brand freakin' new. T_T So now they are half out of the closet and I can't get to my shoes.

Why did I do this to myself? Couldn't be patient and wait until I had space before buying new pets, noooooooo. Had to have them right now. People, see what impatience does to you? It bites you on the butt. And on the hems of your dresses.

Can you put plexiglass or acrylic ontop of their cage? They shouldn't be able to reach your clothes through that?

I do have a piece up there, although it's not quite big enough because it was a scrap my dad had. No, what the little buggers have been doing is reaching through the bars and pulling the hems in through the sides of the cage. Didn't know a rat could reach that far, to be honest.

Ah, I get. If you've got some spare cash, HD has some sheets that you can get.

Teeth 'o destruction not only chewed anything that was near the cage but TWO phone cored and a lamp cord that was plugged in. After that, gave up on putting anything on top of chinchillas cage.
use a fishtank for a cage? and a lid for reptiles...

New guy is having issues probably due to his 8.0 ammonia reading but is still frisky. However he has issues swimming though. he was swimming sideways. Epsom??

I hope some of the eggs make it to fry. not very optimistic about that though. too many things to nom nom the eggs
