I've got to start a mosquito larva bucket. If it gets out of control, I'll toss the guppies in there. Actually, is a medium-sized Rubbermaid okay for a mosquito larva container?

I think the bigger you can get is better less worry about all the water evaporating and such. I found a bucket that already had some dirt and junk in it and threw in some dry leaves sitting around as well and just left it for a while in the shade of a bush

Yay for copper boy! Took a while but at least he finally managed something. I'll head to Wal-Mart and get a big bucket.

just make sure to regularly empty out the larva before they turn into adults. I know OFL has mentioned freezing them in ice cube trays, not sure how my parents would feel about that, lol

yeah, I have bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia in there, but just seems like freezing live mosquito larva might be a different story, lol. maybe I'll do it after they go to bed so they're frozen by morning >_>

My g-ma threw away the old ice trays I used to make Handsome's jello shots.. I could have used them again ;_; I think the ingredients grossed her out XD
