Awh. I sowwie bekah!

To the question. I think the crittertrail cages arent that bad for hammys and mice. Not sure how theyd be dubbed cruel. I guess itd be annoying to have brightly colored everything. Idk if they're colorblind tho.

I cn tell you that the wire cge I have for my hammy is anything but cute. I have heard that those cages that at mostly plastic and enclosed are harder to clean and need cleaning more often because they lack ventilation. There is one pink plastic cage that is very cute but again, I do kinda have to think living in pink neon walls is a little weird.

Alrighty then. It's just that there's this good deal and my dad says I can have the mouse if the cage is pretty cheap, but the food and others are an exception. lol This is the cage I was talking about. I think it's small but really, the other cages look weird and are just plain.. Ugh.

Sakura, what cage do you have?

Oh for like close to 25 years. They probably picked them up at about age 8-9

I saw that, your hamster still has a lot of room? I really don't see any space to put anything but chews, no offense. Pink is also not my color, lol. It's translucent. 0.o

Shendoesn't have much room but she also sleeps all day. To be honest, it's too small for anything but a robo hamster. She's going to be upgraded in a while.

Edit: I should also point out that she's too clumsy to use all the climbing piped and tubes in the other cages. She coukdn't even climb up the ramp to the shelf in her current cage. I finally just removed the ramp and she jumps up to the shelf because I lowered it.

Tanks seem to be roomier than any cages on the market, honestly. And also not as childish. xD They aren't bad unless you don't clean enough.

Good lord, I left all the parsley from my soup on a napkin on the coffee table, Mocha ninja steals them all. WTH dog? Leaves, really? It wasn't funny till I read that it won't kill her.
