I use the towel for my new rat too. Something I noticed about rodents, they tend to pee and poo more when you just get them. In my experience anyways. I had an albino that never went on me once I had him a while. He used to sit on my shoulder for hours. It was fun freaking out kids on Halloween.

That would be so cool! Isn't it cold, though? Mine's a black and white broken.

Shirley, oh yes, they do. But now my one girl dribbles when she gets excited, which is often. But I love my rat girls anyway.

Its usually in the sixties here. I don't take my babies outside. It was funny seeing them come to the door with that rat on my shoulder. Some ran and I felt bad when one cried though he was an albino. Pretty big too. My new one is a light tan.

Yea my new boy jack is just starting to scamper around and play. Pretty good since I got him yesterday. But he has pooed and peed on me at least a couple of times. Its been fun to watch him climb on the ladders hubby set up. Rodents are so miss understood though. They do make excellent pets and rats are normally the least likely of most small pets to bite.

Aside from gerbils, which I have never heard of biting ever. They're so weird like that like a cross between a rat and a hamster! ^_^
