I have heard that the dwarf hamsters - robos, Russians, winter whites - are the most likely to bite. After a few exploratory nibbles, Evita hasn't bitten me. The first week I had her, Delilah my rat bit me but never again. Dinah never bites. She's a licker.

When I was younger, I has a dwarf hamster. I don't recall the exact type. Anyways, he bit so hard that when I shook my hand, he held on and drew enough blood that I had to apply pressure for fifteen minutes to get it to stop bleeding.

So weird, cause he was the only hamster to ever bite me.

Long awaited. Here is Jack in his temp home. Getting him something huge when the tax refund comes or maybe... when I sweet talk hubby this weekend...

Sorry if the photo is huge. Have to readjust my settings on my camera for the baby shower I went to.

Doing homework and looking for female for a sorority I'm going to be starting soon. I think I found the coolest one...if it's really a chick. -.-
