A little of both really. I'm trying to find a male, but it's getting extremely difficult seeing as everything on AB as of late is either RT or excessive branching!!!! >.<

I didn't mean to freak you out Hadoken Kitty. Have you asked anyone else what they think of your female?

I agree that it can be hard to find nice males. It seems a lot recently have also had really dippy/uneven toplines. I can't stand that in a fish.

Yea. All of the toplines that they have for sale are usually RT or heavily branched. If you don't want RT of branching, then you get funky toplines and messy fins shapes. It's just loss/loss right now (or so it feels). I've been talking to MattsBettas. He told me that while she does have excessive branching, if I pair her with a not heavily branched male, then I shouldn't have an issue. Though I should plan to cull quite a few.

Yeah that was something I was going to suggest but wasn't sure if that would work. Good luck on your search. Hopefully you find 'the one' soon.

Yea, I'm beginning to think that a different girl would give me more options, though.
