Yeah, i've tried a couple things i think, but i think she's just happier living out her life. She eats, she swims, she rests a little more than the others, like today. She's taken to hanging out in that corner, but when i fed brine shrimp she sure as heck was getting her fill! I'm happy letting her do her thing. It just makes me sad that things haven't helped her.

OMG that's a fish right bekah?

With the way that her anal fin is, she almost looks like a shrimp...

Does she have a growth or what?

I think Fern has a very large, very severe tumor. :( You can keep her in epsom salts to help lessen any discomfort but otherwise, not much can be done. :( I'm sorry.

Olympia, hurray for new fishies! Sorry about the buffaloheads though. Those blockheads.

Sybil passed last night, thank goodness. I was going to euthanize her today using the ice water method if she hadn't gone. Mary and Edith seem to be doing fine with the unnamed betta girl so I'm just going to leave it like that for a while. Fortunately, betta girl can handle the strong current from the filter. But all the salvinia I put in stagnated because Sybil's cup blocked the filter flow. So it got tossed.

Sakura would you have an idea if I should leave my gourami with popeye to heal? I actually haven't seen him today but I think he should be okay. I read since it's not water issues he probably poked it.

As long as he doesn't poke it again before it deflates, he will probably be okay. If you're not sure, pop him in some epsom salt to reduce the swelling.

Okay. I'm gonna regret saying this if something worse happens but he looks really funny with the huge eye. I need to get a better look at it..
