I have 17 tanks running at the moment and because some of them hold fry I have to go so slowly to avoid killing them all. At the moment it is taking me at least an hour longer to do everything. I think I need to buy more buckets and siphons although I already have stacks.

Most of the time I don't mind but some days I wonder why I couldn't have a more relaxing hobby like illicit drugs or something haha.

I meant tankS, not tank. But yea, I'm beginning to wonder why I have so many tanks going. I don't have 17. Sheesh I can't imagine that. I have 6 running, but I'll soon have 8. I know that's a baby amount compared to some of your guys', but they're all in different rooms. So I'm running all over the house. That and only one sink in the entire upstairs fits my stupid pitcher, so I have to walk the length of the house for every pitcher fill unless I remember to use my 2 gallon water pitcher method (thank goodness I remembered it for the 20 gallon). xD

I'm just going to do the basement ones this friday.....I'll see if I can't spawn as well. This girl that I have is sort of a pain, though. She just doesn't wanna egg up very well with the carding method. I'm just going to give her a 24hour view of her soon to be love interest. We'll see how things go then. I agree; aren't hobbies supposed to make you feel relaxed? :P

Olympia, looks like you have two males and the middle one is a female?

LBF, haha, I can imagine it must get harder when there are fry involved. Funny, I never worried when I had guppy fry and I think I only sucked up one. But then, guppy fry are of course a lot bigger. They generally avoided the siphon anyway.

My palangkarensis fry are dumb as a box of rocks. They literally do not swim away when they see me coming with the siphon. I have to sort of push them out the way and siphon around them. But of course they all sit in the mulm and uneaten food that I actually want to get rid of.

I think I sucked up 12 or so of them the other day. In the end I just gave up and sucked up whoever didn't move. Then I have to go through and scoop them all back out haha.
