Well, took out all the bedding from the rat cage and put in a litter box. I'm so very tired of vacuuming up bedding around the house. Rats are like "Why da cage bare?" Please, my dear rats, please use the litter box. I read that it's fairly easy to train them to use one and that females pick it up faster. *fingers crossed*

Aokashi, that's some Petco but I guess I wouldn't expect any less from the middle of NYC. *moves to NYC and lives with brother and roommate in apartment that is 600 square feet so she can shop at nice Petco*

I hope everything is ok, Kinetic!
I just *rescued* a betta with no fins from Petsmart. They gave him to me. I bought him a net and stresscoat and put him kn a 1.5 gallon. He's a sweetheart.

Can he swim okay, DQ? Poor guy, he's been through the war. I'm so glad you were able to take him after all.

He swims fine. I can't tell if he's got ventrals or not. If so he holds them close to his body. He ate a pellet earlier and I'll probably offer another one later. I'm getting some Atisons from another member so he'll be eating good, nutricious food.

Mouse had a cage cleaning today, I'm afraid if he'll bite me. He bit me like, 3 times already. One time he drew blood. @.@
Pretty bowl, Ao! Good luck with the farm. ^^

Over hundreds of bettas die in their small, dirty cups each day. Only you can help them live. Research and then save them, today!

I have to get some corncob bedding to use in the litter box. If I use the old stuff, they just burrow in it and throw it all out. Dang. Oh and dang again. I hear Delilah chewing on the litter box. -____- Please girls, don't do this to me!

Lebron, ouch!

Aokashi, how do you recharge your Purigen? I tried Seachem's bleaching method and so far, it's taken over a week. First it took well over four days to actually bleach the dumb pouch back to normal, using 3x the recommended dose of bleach. Now it's taking forever to get the bleach out. I'm thinking of trying Nitra-Zorb next since it can be recharged via saltwater.

DQ, I'm glad he can swim. What a little trooper.

hmmm... I was a rebel and used full strength bleach, it was clean in a matter of minutes. but was good after that and let it sit in diluted prime for a few days :P

Since I used it on my shrimps I think its safe XD
