UGH! More animal problems.....Yesterday morning, Korra started showing symptoms of having a bladder stone. I brought her into the vet ASAP and she went into surgery. They found a stone blocking her urinary tract. They removed it successfully but upon restitching, her heart rate started falling. They did the best they could, but they couldn't save her. She's now laid next to Mr. Whistles :(

Was Korra a gp? I'm so sorry to hear :( How heartbreaking.

I am acclimating 2 large RCS to the betta tank, Bowser's side with the light (and algae). I think I know what my algae prob is, I have been dosing the 5g tank with 2 mL of seachem flourish Comprehensive once a week which I think is too much. I added 2mL just then and THEN read the bottle so next time I'll add less. I'm hoping these two little shrimp can help clean the algae. Bowser's crazy but he's not Ludendorff crazy. I think the shrimp can outswim him.

:( I was supposed to take bubbles in to get his teeths cleaned but decided not to because he is an old man and would need to go under anestesia.

I'm going to double post bc this is impt.. TIKI!!

I swear to god (or whatever) buy some chlorhexadine solution at the pharmacy. It's like 3$ and contains like .12% or something. It's a pink liquid used for oral rinsing in humans. Get that and dilute it in Bubbles' water. Like 1mL to a cup or something. Or squirt a dilted solution directly in his mouth. Do this once a day. Also enzymatic toothpaste for dogs from petsmart (its like 8$). Two best holistic things for dog oral care everrrr. Trust me. I'm a doctor.

If you read the other articles, it apparently treats just about every other doggie issue as well, haha!
