Petco was awesome! So many nice bettas and $30 leopard geckos! When can we get these in Canada?

The geckos are $30 at petsmart too there. It's the USA/Canada difference, bringing Petco into Canada you won't get around it. :/

I don't want to see more stores selling animals.. Rather, I want to see Petsmart up their maintenance on the ones they have- and get in HMPK's.. On the other hand I am very interested in a local breeder who claims to have a steel blue HMPK.

Omg. Finished tearing down the ten gallon, setting it back up, putting in my two boys, and finally getting read to set up this little .5 gal for my girl so I can start conditioning her. The .5 gal is right next to her man's tank, so I'll be able to just turn it when I want them to see each other (thank goodness it's square and has a black back). FINALLY. Now...just to catch her....

Poop. I was changing around one my tanks and I had the last bit of peat moss out in a container, and while I was filling up the bucket of water my dog knocked it over.

Because it was wet it has now made a nice mud patch on my carpet. So not only do I have to go out and buy some more peat moss but my mum is going to kill me if I can't get it out.

The culprit looking very contrite

HEHE cute.

OH LBF I didn't get those bettas. I totally underestimated how massive they were. They'd probably eat my apistos.

taking a break from fish-keeping.
3 lovely male betta still keep me company.

Yeah they are big. You don't realise how big until you actually see species like macrostoma, ideii and the like in the flesh.

Did you get your gertrudae in the end?

Also she is such a naughty girl but she is so cute looking that I am soft on her. However, she has had practically no obedience training and unlike our other two is not naturally tractable. I have told my mum that either we start her with lessons or I won't walk her anymore as she is surprisingly strong when she lunges about.
