I've started filling my tanks to the rims. I see the appeal in this. The tank looks more complete. More like a "block of water".

The only reason I don't on my other tanks is because they are rimless. Thus I have no rim to fill to. ;)

I just realized I have a few project ideas

DIY canister filter for the Angel tank....will probly hold off until I am getting close to getting more fishys.
Making my own rear basket for my bike to hold the Super Pug
Switch the puggers to prey model raw. Slowly stocking up for that.....
get MORE plants for the angel tank

so much to do, so little time....and moneys

Fishy, can I use your awesome bike idea? I wanna take Oliver for rides! His ears flopping in the wind...I wonder if I should get him goggles? Would be GREAT!

I want plants, too!!! I just re-set up my 10 gal....no plants. :(

Edit: this anatomy class is killing me T.T

Just go down to do my usual water change on a tank where the male is either stuffing his face or beating the snot out of the female.

Wondered why they were together at the back and he has a big mouthful of eggs.

Quite unexpected as I was giving up hope of them ever spawning. However, he chose the worst time to be spawning as I don't have room and we are doing house renovations for the next few months.

Haha he was trying to hide under the female when I went down and peeked in. It will be interesting to see if he holds to term with all the activity going on.

Meanwhile I have come to the realisation that one of my other males may be a dud not a stud. I changed their tank around today as they haven't spawned successfully since I have owned them. He was out and about and even flared at his mirror with his female, but as soon as she tries to flirt with him he clamps up and swims off.

As soon as our wholesaler gets some brownorum back in, he is going to be replaced.

I seem to be in the same boat, I think. Guess we'll see. Might help if I don't have such an aggressive female for him nest time. :P
