Love the snail! I want to work with giant apple snails and breed them. They are very cool!

I wish I had gone with apples instead of ramshorns. I likey da big snail. My ramshorns are smaller than cat kibble. Literally.

Beautiful, oooh, I know! Those ones that are the size of a tennis ball are awesome!

I just realized that I haven't seen the guppy male in my 20gal for a while. I think he may have died and was eaten 'cause I don't see a body. I feel kinda bad but kinda not. He was only in there because I didn't have the heart to feed him to Sparky.

I rather want apple snails now with all this talk of them! A pity my tanks are too small (I think) at only 7 gallons to support one of them, some RCS and a betta each. Is that correct? Or does "so heavily planted you can barely see any sand from the top" make a difference? :D

Finally got a picture of Saruman! It's a bit dodgy, only an Instagram pic at the moment until I can get the good camera out (and turn the tank lights up to full) but here it is anyhow. :D

He's GORGEOUS Sparrowhawk!!
honestly if your tank is that planted i think a snail woukd do fine. I've got a not quite as planted 5.5 gallon with a betta, five ghost shrimp and a million snails that's just fine! Needs more plants but the group is okay. might toss a baby apple in this summer actually. along with more plants

also i have seriously got the body mod bug. i just lack funds SIGH.
