Pearl, oh thank goodness. My mom had a stroke a few years ago and fortunately it was mild so she's mostly fine but you can tell where parts of her brain went fuzzy. She starts stories in the middle now and forgets to tell you who is who in them. "Wait, so who went to the store and who got in the car accident? Mom, when you're talking about two different people, you've got to clarify things for me." "Well, it makes perfect sense to me."

I decided to just not go to Easter dinner. I'm exhausted from the houseguest and since being social drains me (even being with people I like), I thought I'd just stay home and do water changes. Dunno, maybe Taco Bell is open.

Easter means a lot to me but actually celebrating it doesn't really. It's not really fun unless you're a kid who gets to go hunt for eggs and gets candy. :p

Still debating if I should move the pair of flagfish to the 5gal. Maybe condition them and see if the brats will breed for me finally. Might be a little snug though and they're kind of active fish. Or just fill the 5gal up with pink pearl snails until I can set it up for saltwater. I just learned that once I switch to SW, I lose all my BB because it was freshwater. So much for the idea of cycling with FW fish. I think I'll cycle with live rock.

Does anyone know what a clay pot plant is? I bought a beautiful one at the LFS yesterday and when I asked what kind of plant it was (scientific name and all), four people had no clue. They all said even the supplier just called it "clay pot plant." It's a pretty, light green plant with round leaves in a . . . clay pot. I'll take a pic later.

Oh my gosh Sakura, I have no idea. It could be any stem plant growing in a pot....I think it'd be safe to say that just about any plant that gets pushed in a clay pot could be called a "clay pot plant." X.X

I don't think I'm doing very good, but here are some comparative ones:

Dwarf Four Leaf Clover: http://www.floridaaquatic.com/aquari...20hirsuta.html

I don't think I found it though. Sorry. :(

oh! that's great that your mom is now well too Sakura! :) Thing about clots are, they can happen to anyone for any number of reasons!

I just woke up from a nice, long nap. I am feeling the residual sleepiness leftover still though. I just hope I can go to bed at a reasonable time today.

The nursery didn't have any annuals out yet other than the petunias and some of the more exotic type of plants :( It was disappointing. I didn't check the other nursery closer to my house though or home depot/lowes.

I swear I have seen that plant before. I just cannot recall what it is.

Could it possibly be this?

http://mizuworld.com/product/detail/357

Maybe an emersed grown aquatic plant?

LBF, I think that's it. :) Thank you, LBF and Kitty for looking. I tried googling it but all I got were actual clay pots.

I hope it does okay, my pH is 7.8. o.O

No problem! Even though I didn't even find it. xD

If you have other plants that'll help, plus...doesn't clay pots help lower PH?
